RESTAURANT MANAGERS: General, Assistant and Shift Leaders

FIVE GUYS management must develop a team of dedicated people delivering the highest level of hospitality. They are responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant according to FIVE GUYS standards
Responsibilities Include:
Team Development - We are a rapidly growing company. Our leaders must promote a team environment by showing respect, delivering feedback and coaching, celebrating achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively . Hire, train, and develop the rifht people and plan staffing levels to meet guest and business needs. Continuously learn while passing on knowledge and skills to help others develop and grow.
Leadership/Operations - Develop and lead systems to control costs. Deliver world class hospitality through detailed focus of employee development. Analyze restaurant environment and business results to identify opportunities and action plan with your team to set and achieve goals. Comply with all restaurant, Brand and franchisee policies.
Guest Satisfaction/Interaction - Lead by example and promote and environment where there is a sense of urgency to satisfy guests. This is a fast paced environment. leaders must be hands on to ensure Brand standards and systems are executed. engage and empower team to develop solutions that drive business results. Complete all required training including ServSafe Cerification.
Skills/Required Competencies:
Restaurant Supervisory experience required
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Math and Financial management
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel)
Guest Focus - anticipate and understand guest relations and expectations
Passion for results - set goals and deliver on commitments
Team Building - get the right people in the right places, enabling them to make decisions and celebrate success as a team
Conflict Management - use interpersonal skills to confront tough issues and resolve disagreements fairly and constructively
Developing Direct Reports and Others - provide honest feedback to team members, activily coaching and supporting them to achieve personal and professional goals

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
