Key responsibilities include: Performs resident related restorative care services as determined by the Director of Nursing or Physical Therapy and in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern senior care facilities
Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plan
Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartment
Recording and reporting a change in resident's eating habits to supervisor
Assists patients in becoming ambulatory with appropriate equipment and in a safe manner
We seek the following
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of Rhode Island
One (1) year of Restorative care/nursing experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexible with schedule and available to work some holidays
Must enjoy working with the senior population
