Under the direction of members of the Human Resources Team works on various projects from Staff Development to Benefit and Wellness, assists in the recruitment process, and learns about the essential functions of the Human Resources Department, state and federal labor and employment laws and the Hospital's policies. Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program majoring in Human Resources, Labor Relations or Business; completion of one Human Resources Class or a combination of Business classes. Computer literacy required. Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills along with commitment to customer service, collaborative teamwork and quality also required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. This is an unpaid internship.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
