Summary:
To organize and administer activities (swimming, watercraft etc.
) at the waterfront consistent with Girl Scout and American Camp Association standards and to integrate waterfront activities with unit plans and other specialized camp events.
To fully support and actively participate in the team approach to camp management and achievement of goals.

Responsibilities:
Attend and conduct portions of pre-camp trainingSupervise lifeguard staff while at the waterfront Conduct weekly evaluations of lifeguard staffConduct weekly in house trainings with waterfront staffEnforce safety measures at the waterfrontAssist with special waterfront events if neededResponsible for swim checking campers on incoming daysFacilitate boating instructionProvide games and activities during free swimPerform daily set up, maintenance, and clean-up of waterfront as directedReports accidents to Camp Director promptlyPerforms other duties as assignedJob
Qualifications:
Be a current member of the Girl Scout movement and accept the beliefs and principles and ways of work of the organizationCurrent lifeguard certificationCurrent First Aid/CPR certificationAbility to pass RIDEM Non-Surf test (Dates TBD by RIDEM)Be able to give and/or follow directions in an emergencyAbility to act as role model for campersExperience as a Girl Scout camper or youth leader desirableAbility to work on a teamWilling to work and live in a rustic camp settingAge:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
